Saint Marta de Meilan: With Aldurfe and Riotorto it was part of the ancient jurisdiction of the latter name, in that the Mondoñedo prelate was holding the dominion together with others individuals. She was a proprietor of the tower and estates of Santa Maria of Meilán and of the quarter of the Vilar and other estates, Maria de Bolaño, the one who supported in the year 1509 a suit against the Mondoñedo bishop on the preserve of Riotorto, litigation that his heirs continued. Inside the parochial term are the San chapels Bernabeu and San Roque. In the paragraph of civil architecture, to emphasize the tower of the Moor, work of the XIVth century and the Peñaflor castle, located in the high place of the mount, close to the Vilaseca place.
